Standards                                                                                             

Almost all the jute products have National Standards. These National Standards are used by the respective countries. There is an International Standard (IJO-98/01) for Hydro Carbon free jute bags, which was developed by the erstwhile International Jute Organisation (IJO) and is accepted worldwide.
